Jhonen C. Vasquez was born on September 1st, 1974 in San Jose, California. His works include ''Johnny: The Homicidal
Maniac'', ''Squee!'', ''I Feel Sick'' and ''Filler Bunny''. Jhonen was approached in 1999 for a cartoon idea, thus Invader
ZIM was born. Jhonen thought the show wouldn't make it past the pilot pitch. But, Nickelodeon picked up the show. Jhonen constantly
battled the Nick execs, due to some material dubbed ''too offensive''. In 2002, ZIM was cancelled and Jhonen went back to
comics and video games. His newest work, a 3rd Filler Bunny comic, was released in early 2005.
